In this trilogy of poetry, I’ve reflected on life growing up in Australia; the transition from childhood into adulthood and the diverse challenges, influences and opportunities felt and discovered by many along the way.
In part II of the Painted Faces trilogy, "Seeing", I explore what it's like to witness new things, new systems of power and to finally "see" the world as an adult.
In part I of the Painted Faces trilogy, "Moving", I explore coming of age, moving through new stages of life and finding new places of meaning and purpose.
