Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I wrote a lot of stories as a kid, and really worried my mother since many of them involved running away from home or other rebellious behavior. I think most stories need a bit of trouble involved.
What is your writing process?
I jot down ideas and scenes on the back of reciepts, on cards, envelopes, grocery lists, you name it. Editing is always done on the computer after I transfer all my messy notes.
