Behind the assorted histories, prophecies, psalms, and letters of the Bible is the story of the Divine Relationship--the progressive relationship between God and man. Over the past six millennia, it has had three unique transition points. We are fast approaching the fourth and final transition which will signal the endgame of both the Divine Relationship and of human history.
The Christian church was established to bring the Kingdom of God to "earth as it is in heaven." This has not happened. According to God's metrics, the church is "in ruins." This is the bad news. The good news is that God has given us a template for the restoration of the church, if we choose to embrace it.
We are about to witness a spiritual revolution that began at Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago and which has been lost for most of Christian history. The big question is whether today's church will be a herald or a victim of what's coming.
