Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
My husband's cancer is terminal. I was looking for details to chemo treatments and pain management so we could understand what the next steps might be. I couldn't find anyone who wrote out the types of chemo treatments, surgeries and pain management. So, I wanted to give mesothelioma patients a "picture" of what to expect.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
This is my first book on Smashwords. I have high hopes that Smashwords will help me get the message about my book on Mesothelioma.

Randy Brady, a popular DJ with KFAX San Francisco, was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a terminal cancer. I give a play by play details of the treatments and pain management therapies we tried during the 32 months. I let you know what worked and what regrets we had. In the Shadow of the Valley of Death, over 200 people came and helped us make it through this horrific ordeal. We were in God's grace.
