Ransae grew up in Miamisburg, Ohio, on a small 5 acre family farm. She was the youngest of four; with only older brothers. This did not make her the pampered baby girl, she was treated as one of the boys and worked right along with the boys. With no other female neighbors she grew up a tomboy thru and thru.
After her marriage, she now lives on 10.5 acres in Germantown, Ohio, with her husband, three horses, and one Pomeranian.
She became involved with horse ownership in 1989. Since then her and her family have spent 20 plus years loving, riding and learning about these majestic equines. She felt compelled to tell the world how much fun horses can be and how much we can learn from them and their owners about life and friendships.
By spending so much of her time involved with horses and with other people who are "Horse Crazy", this has provided her with a never ending supply of stories. This has made her realize that other crazy people have the desire to read horse related stories.
From 1985 to 2012, she was Administrative Secretary for the Miamisburg Fire Department. Ransae has been the Correspondence Secretary for the Montgomery County Ohio Horsemen's Council and the Editor of their Monthly Newsletter since 1998.
