I used to have a REALLY bad habit of writing impulse-letters based upon how I was feeling at that moment about a particular situation and sending them out before I had a chance to calm down and think rationally about things. The letters I wrote out of emotion instead of using logic ended up making situations worse, so instead of actually putting these letters in the mail I began to save them.
Prison Messed My Feet Up
Price: $4.99 USD. Words: 112,220. Language: English. Published: October 3, 2022 . Categories: Nonfiction » Music » Ethnic
Perhaps my most artistic literary work to date, this book expresses the multitude of life lessons that I've learned while growing up, and especially since being incarcerated. My crazy sense of humor and love for music is sprinkled throughout this loosely autobiographical project as well. This book also features many of my original rap songs that I have written and some of my favorite poetry.
We Once Were Human Too
Price: $2.99 USD. Words: 22,230. Language: English. Published: October 1, 2022 . Categories: Essay » Literature
When an individual is incarcerated, it is a constant struggle to find and maintain a sense of self-worth in an environment where we are often treated as "less than", regardless of how much we may have changed for the better. These poems are reflections of my thoughts along the way of my personal journey while navigating the darkness behind these prison walls.
Unspoken Word
Price: $2.99 USD. Words: 24,560. Language: English. Published: August 28, 2019 . Categories: Fiction » African American fiction » Urban life, Poetry » American poetry » African American
A collection of poetry taking an in-depth look into the realty of the world as seen through the author's eyes. Some of the topics are more uncomfortable to face than others, but problems first have to be recognized before they can be dealt with.
