Ray Reigstad

From Minnesota. Drove a taxi in Minneapolis for 10 years (nights) and played in 2 bands: Static Taxi and Stepchild. I spend time in LA and LV and enjoy wandering around the NV desert by myself. These books are comparatively detailed when it comes to talking about, for example, the hi-hat in the title track for The Cars' "Panorama" or the many random facts about The Iron Range, a highly overlooked incredibly interesting place in America. Dark, edgy and unguided yet also a bright and analagous-toned region. A WILD place to grow up. I write both fiction and non fiction and prefer fiction. I have a complicated history & prefer not to relive it via non-fiction. The taxi book though is all true and I'm happy that that time period happened and is OVER. Paperback copies of 7 of my books & the "Replacements" (the Minneapolis band) screenplay are available on Lulu.com Peace man.
