Great question. While I know that smartphones are our go to for most digital activities, in regards to reading, not so much for me. Call me "old school", I still prefer larger screens. That said, my "e-reader" is my laptop; portable like that of a smartphone and yet the screen is much larger. I can say, if a tablet was handy, I would try that too.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
All of them, both online and offline efforts; of course, it probably helps that I am a digital marketing expert. The first and foremost, having a website for each one of books has been an excellent starting point. From there, the use of social media channels has been very valuable. I then tie these online efforts to offline ones; attending events and getting to meet and greet customers and fans, has been not only fun but instrumental.
