Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was a sci-fi story. It was my only original piece until recently. Unfortunately it never got to see the light of being published since I lost it in a burglary a few years back. My laptop and all my backups were taken and I was heart sore about it, but it gave me the ability to write something more, it gave me more time to improve myself and make something better.
In terms of fanfiction I've written a lot of those from anime to movies and over the years I seem to have plot lines running through my head while watching movies, which is rather distracting
What is your writing process?
Oh the writing process...to be honest I don't really have one. For me it has always been me doing something else when I'm suddenly struck with an idea and I need to write it down. I learnt that from my lecturer, because one finds that the first time you think of an idea is the best idea than to think about it and to over think it. The moment you think of something, write it down or you will never have the same effect as when you first thought about it.
I'm a true scatterbrain so I need a pen and paper handy at all times For some writers they usually use a timeline strategy in which everything is written in a linear fashion and connects which is better but at the same time I feel is too limiting, but with my strategy even though you have good scenes and dialogue, the problem comes in when you have to connect all these separate scenes together to create a story that flows. But I won't change my writing style because it is what suits me
