What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Losing myself in the story.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The suspense novel arose from a "quick-write" exercise posed at the local writers group; I wrote so much and so well I Had to keep working on it; the schooling memoir arises from a deep disgust at the modern NZ schooling approach - all assessments and little teaching, for lower standards of literacy & numeracy; the anthology is sheer vanity.
