Amy is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and has been writing resumes for professionals since 2003. She has a bachelor’s degree in written and technical communication, with a diverse career history in technical and marketing writing for companies including Pfizer and Thompson Peterson’s, as well as an executive recruiting background. Amy began writing resumes as a freelancer writing federal, CV, executive, and professional resumes for clients from around the globe. She enjoyed helping others achieve their career goals through resume writing services and cover letter writing services so much she decided to found Gies Career Services. Amy is also a current member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW) where she obtained her CPRW designation.
