Rich Hynes

Biography

RICH HYNES grew up with a love of stories. He has written several screenplays and television pilots, two of which were finalists in the “WILDSound TV/Screenplay Contest”. Rich is currently writing the animated series Rikki Tikki Tavi, based loosely on the classic mongoose character created by Rudyard Kipling, as well as Oz Academy, an animated healthcare series based on offspring of the characters in the L. Frank Baum classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. His new novella The Adventures of Tek Danger and Larry Applebaum, (Discount) Mercenaries for Hire is currently available all over the internet, despite its ridiculously long title.

Before pursuing his writing career full time, Rich held various jobs from programming computers, to working as a police evidence clerk, to selling makeovers to random women on the street. He was born and raised on Long Island where he volunteered as a fireman and EMT in his free time, but relocated to Sunny Southern California and is quite happy not having to deal with snow anymore.
