This was a brilliant read. Really got into it and couldn't wait to find out what happened. Won't spoil it for anyone else but I loved the ending - made me read it all over again to search for clues. Masterful job of bringing a story to a conclusion. I would have paid a dollar for this. Don't give your work away so freely Mr. Coghlan - But I'm glad you did!
And this, Sir, was even better. I read your "Vagabond Storyteller" eBook and found this gem too. I will now ensure I read the other two I see you have. You set the scene in an Edwardian seaside town wonderfully. I lived by the sea in Northern England for five years and the descriptions in this story brought me back to those grey and windy shores. The use of the statues as a plot device was great, full of suspense. Highly recommend this story - another great freebie too.
