Rick Davis

Biography

Rick Davis is a retired battalion chief from the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority (LFRA) in Colorado. He served as a firefighter for thirty-seven years and with LFRA for over twenty-nine. During his time with Loveland Fire, Rick led several teams and served as a shift commander and training chief.

Rick is a veteran of both the United States Air Force and United States Marine Corps.

Rick is the founder of the Fire Officer Leadership Academy providing leadership training, coaching, and mentoring to fire department officers.

Rick authored The Furnace of Leadership Development, an Amazon international best-selling book.

Originally from New Jersey, he now lives in Loveland, Colorado with his wife and their dog, Java. He also has two adult daughters who live nearby with their husbands. Rick is a student of leadership, military history, and finds studying the Gettysburg Campaign of 1863 of great interest.
