Risque Taker

Biography

In my normal life, you would pass me on the street and think I am the most straight-laced person on the planet. But while I hold myself to high standards in most of my public life, I also have a different side that would shock most people.

With the help of a close, deeply personal friend, I have discovered depths of my sexuality that I had an inkling were there, but never thought I would see the day in which I could explore them.

I cut my teeth writing erotic non-fiction, about encounters enjoyed by my wife and I, but recently started dabbling in erotic fiction short stories as well. What you will see in my writing, is a combination of both.

I have personally been exploring the BDSM world for not quite a year yet, and while at times I thought the punishments to be extreme, as I continued through the entire book, I found myself more and more intrigued by what Leslie would cook up next. Being an extremely analytical person by nature, I visualized all of these punishments, and looked for ways to use them in my own life, applying my own unique twist to the act. Unlike some of the BDSM stories I've read, there was a certain fluidity in each of the stories, showing that the writing was well thought out from beginning to end. But I do need to agree with another review, in that the final story was a bit weak. The role changes were great, but it started off so...matter of fact. I look forward to more work from this author.

I am not sure who has been reviewing this particular book, but I am less than pleased with its quality. While it was apparent through the writing that the author is foreign to me, I can't believe that the numerous errors I found could be the result of that difference and what would pass for grammatically correct English. Almost immediately, I found it a struggle to read, because of the numerous errors in grammar and punctuation. The misuse of their/there/they're was painful, and the run-on sentences were hideous. While I could visualize the BDSM scene, the description was shallow, and doesn't read like a Dom/sub relationship in the least. The woman comes around, gets abused, then leaves. I partake in some alternative lifestyle activities, and I found the way these scenarios were written, to be juvenile in description, much like that of a horny teenager telling the story of popping a cherry. The fact that it was supposed to be true stories intrigued me, as I've written stories for myself of my encounters over the last few years, and looked forward to reading something similar from someone else...another perspective on this kind of fun, if you will. I finished barely a third of the book, as I grew tired of hoping the next 'page' would bring something exciting.
