Hi. I’m Robin Kirkwood. I grew up in Missouri, California, and Texas, the oldest of my parents three children. In sixth-grade, my teacher assigned several writing prompts throughout the year, and I discovered I enjoyed telling stories very much. I wrote on and off throughout junior high and high school, but in college, I strangely found myself fascinated with philosophy and theology and ended up getting two degrees in theology from a small Catholic liberal arts university. I wanted to get a Ph.D. in theology and teach college. But in 2003, I abandoned that goal to stay at home with my kids. I tried homeschooling my kids, but found I didn’t have the patience for it, and once my kids went to school, I returned to my childhood dream of writing. I currently live in Texas with my family.
