This short story is based on the true story of a young woman named Ann Saunders who boarded a ship in the 1800’s with her fiance. She was headed to the New World and a new life until her ship foundered in stormy seas. What happens next dramatically changes her destiny... "This is a good way to spend an afternoon, it was sad, and although the ending was bittersweet it ended well."
