"I write descriptive stories in lush settings overflowing with every emotion shared by the human experience: joy, hope, love, desire, longing, lust, jealousy, hunger, loathing, uncertainty, grief, and desperation, amongst others. As we can all relate to some, if not most of these, I delve into these matters of the heart and put them on naked display for you, the reader of my stories. At times you will find the aura of my stories is exceedingly beautiful, and other times, rather dark.

Whether it is my straight Erotica stories or my other books, I delight in writing a passionate sex scene, but do so in a manner which, though still deliciously explicit enough to stimulate your blood flow, is not necessarily crude. I write the stories I always sought to read, yet could never seem to come across these days. My style of writing has been compared to Anne Rice, as well as classic female erotica writer Anaïs Nin."

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I have been writing all my life. One of the first things I said I wanted to be 'when I grew up' was an author. The first book I wrote was in third grade about a horse and his boy who rescue an orphaned panda bear and all become great friends - a far cry from the erotic romances I now write!
Of course, somewhere in the middle, life got in the way, as it so often tends to do. After going through the entire college routine, obtaining two degrees, and then subsequently realising I could just never be happy working for someone else in a 9 to 5 job, and that what I truly wanted was to be able to be there for my family and still have a meaningful career. I revisited the idea of being a writer. Though I had fears of never achieving any sort of success, I was determined more than I had ever been before about anything. I would not fail.

I began writing seriously again in 2011. After making the decision to self-publish in 2013, I have never looked back. I now know this was my true calling all along.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's kind of funny, really. My latest book, Craving Red is one of those iconic stories. While I was supposed to be working on another book- which I was not feeling particularly inspired by at the moment, pushed it's way into my head completely of its own accord. For about a week, I tried to fight it off, while jotting down the ideas for later. Finally, when I wasn't able to maintain focus on the book I was supposed to be working on, I gave in and began writing it. It just poured out of me like I had never experienced before and in two weeks I had finished it. I don't know what it was, but I had such a good feeling about this book from day one.
When I published it the response was phenomenal. In it's first week, Craving Red hit the Top 100 Bestsellers on Amazon in BDSM Erotica, Paranormal Erotica, and Horror Erotica and was #1 on the Hot New Releases list! The pinnacle moment for me was when my book was sitting on the list right beside Anne Rice's 'The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty'.
