An only child of the ‘60s, brought up in a Lancashire mill town, with devoted working class parents, days were filled with laughter and good friends building strong bonds.
School life was highlighted with creative writing and art, adding fuel to the burning desire to write a book that would be enjoyed by many and most of all her mother.
Adulthood brought its own challenges, but with the birth of her children her longing to find true love was fulfilled and days of laughter and colour surrounded her.
Some fragments of her own childhood still hold on today as her need to feel the freedom of outdoors and the elements draw her to her favourite place; her garden, which she still shares today with her many rescue cats and her partner in her beautiful home in North Yorkshire.

The Colour of Dreams
by Rosie Charles
There are only a few people in life who are chosen, special. Their existence seems utopic and they look to the rest of us as if they have it all sorted; but perhaps we are missing the journey that they have been on to find such peace and contentment. The Colour of Dreams is a magical tale with a dreamlike quality set against a backdrop of process and determination.
