Biography
I have always enjoyed anything adventurous, and have worked in fields that tend to give me a rush. I've been employed as a firefighter, a correctional officer, a police officer, and a park ranger. My most recent job has been - get this - as a church secretary. Honestly, that was the biggest adventure of all.
I have been writing since 4th grade, when I won a short story contest and had the honor of meeting Mercer Meyer. I have always written for myself, until my sister questioned why I didn't try to get published. After that I started letting other folks read my stuff, and I've since acquired a pretty large fan base at my church.
I am married and we have a beautiful daughter. I enjoy shooting, anything to do with horses (including cleaning stalls, if you can believe that), hiking, and hanging out with good friends.
