Ryan Notch

Biography

Ryan Notch lives in Centralia, Pennsylvania, a town evacuated by the Federal government due to a coal mine fire burning beneath it since 1962. The only town in America ever to have its zip code revoked. During the day he wanders the empty streets and houses as if in a dream, looking for something he lost but can't remember where or what it was. At night he writes his horror stories by lying down next to a burning fissure along main street and placing his ear to the ground, transcribing what he hears coming up from below.

  • The Ultimate Guide to Working from Home on Sep. 12, 2012

I received an advance version of this book (both the free and complete editions) and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. In the modern world working from home is an advantage and necessity to a lot of us, but it can be hard to find business that allow this. This ebook is basically exactly that list. What they are, where they are, how to apply, and other vital information. You're going to do a lot better with this book than you would just poking around the internet. It will save you time, and potentially make you money.
  • The Earth Transformed - Ghost Book I on Aug. 20, 2014

Nice writing and a cool plot line make this book a cool piece of authorized fan fiction in the world of the best game ever, Wasteland. However, loses some points for amateur formatting issues. There are no paragraph breaks or indents, messing up the flow and pacing of the reading (it's surprising how much this can hurt a reading experience). This problem exists on the kindle, mobi, and pdf versions. To the authors: the Smashwords style guide details how to avoid this issue. Or if you are having problems with it, contact a fellow e-author at my Facebook page (I already Kickstarted the thing, I might as well help with formatting too :) https://www.facebook.com/paulie.gatto.9
