Biography

Born in Texas about 55 years ago I was reading by the age of 4. Dr. Suess's "Green Eggs and Ham" was the first book I had ever laughingly read and is fondly remembered to this day. I've loved poetry since. Shakespeare, W.B. Yeats, Mark Twain and many others stirred my restless soul. In the Navy over a dozen years and working offshore on oil rigs more than you care to know, I've loved and lost around this globe, but remember. I remember them all and I wanted to share glimpses of the heart in this short book of "52 Sinful Sensations". Those wonderful women taught me so much of life and love.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Most aspiring writers have a voice recorder on their phones. I sleep with a pen and yellow paper tablet on the nightstand I built myself. When an idea or memory slaps me in the face, I rise to write and go back to sleep. When I awaken in the morning I'm smiling, because I know exactly what it is that I'm going to write. It is a great fluid feeling that fills my day.
Describe your desk
My desk is huge now. Eight feet wide and old oak. An antique kitchen table filled with notebooks of different writings and a dozen different styled pens that I choose at random. It is honestly incredible for me to choose and feel a pen based on my emotion at that time I write. Coffee and coffee pot with my favorite cup are the only other items.

Unless you've been-there-seen-it-done-it, you might not understand this man's natural gift in explaining controlled terror. Malcolm is a brother sailor I've never had the pleasure of shaking hands with. Purely outstanding writing. Hand salute. Genius descriptive narrative.
