Salley J Robins

Biography

A writer who loves bringing readers into her world. A storyteller, poet, and amateur photographer, Salley writes with passion. She adores travel and sharing the good things in life. Currently based in the South of France, her unique voice speaks with enthusiasm about the culture, history, and people of the region.

To preview that Taste of France you will find a blog and a few stories on her website. However, she also enjoys writing in a variety of styles which include YA sci-fi, adult fantasy and an adult steamy novel - Never Say Kiss me to a Frenchman!
under the pen name of Lascivia Bené!

Her first two eBooks were visual visits designed to bring the reader right into her sunny village on the Cote Vermeille. Next, a childrens book about life with the California Indians in Yosemite was followed by a trilogy of sci-fi about life on Mars. Arthurian Legends of Avalon inspired two Adult Fantasy/Sci-Fi novels and now as she sets about writing her 11th novel, she has eighteen years of life in France to draw on as she makes it clear that one must Never Say Paint me to a Frenchman!

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
My mother told me that I began to write stories as soon as I'd learned how to write words. I don't remember that. I do remember writing a fantasy story in second grade.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My desire to share these stories with as many people as I could as personally as I could. The web reaches the world in a very different way from traditional print. It gives the author total control and allows me to include the personal touches that big publishing never would.

A Perfect book for taking the first steps to creating an eBook. I read it through once and then referred to it several times while formatting my first book. I appreciated the personal style and support given to the first time indie writer. I highly recommend it as it is very clear and straightforward. I have read others on this topic and found this one to be the best.
