Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've always had a passion for writing. From beginning to end I love every moment of the worlds that I create. I was inspired to become an indie author to prove to myself that traditional publishing isn't the only way to go. That it's possible to sell books without the strings and hindrances of someone else's ideals.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has been a gift from the universe. It's saved me time, money and provided an outlet for an opportunity that before its inception hadn't been possible. The style guide was concise, if long winded. If you follow the steps exactly then you shouldn't have a problem making it to the premium catalog that provides a wider reach in readers.
