Sarah Flanagan

Biography

Sarah Flanagan had always been inspired to read books, especially fantasy and fiction. It wasn’t until she was about nine when she took pen in hand and began to write her own stories. The first stories she ever wrote were imaginary sequels to some of her favorite fantasy stories and some short stories of her own. When she turned fifteen, she began her most intense story that would one day take her on a journey of a lifetime. She originally wrote The Last Victim in Hichester District as a novel about four friends who entered a boarding school. However, after a week-long personal adventure, she changed the story into what it is now.

Presently, she is preparing to enter her Senior year of homeschooled high school and has become intrigued with her future in college. She is also looking forward to a second adventure with the Mecarnin brothers. When she isn’t writing, she is helping with her little brothers or taking long walks and dreaming up more ideas for writing.
