Matt Schutt lives in Portland, Oregon and is a member of Mensa. In his words: "The Story Engine was not authored, but rose spontaneously from the smoldering ashes of six screenplays, a novel, a collection of essays, dozens of magazine articles, hundreds of comic book scripts, and thousands of cover letters."
