Travis Pasch

Biography

I was literally born at the crossroads in Arizona, as that’s where my parents decided to stop their VW bus for the year. I’m a born wanderer who reached all fifty states by the age of twenty-five and love nothing more than a story of any kind. On my endless journey I have met a plethora of interesting people and I try to combine those real life experiences about the downtrodden and irregular people of our world with whatever odd ideas I can conjure. Writing has become more of a need than a want for me, if I don’t get out what’s in my head everything begins to fall into disrepair.
I write dark realistic fiction with touches of sci-fi/fantasy elements thrown in. My books are character driven, where their thoughts about the world become intertwined with the plot. My work has a duality to it, with truthful, simple dialogue, and vivid description. I’ve worked blue collar jobs (and a stint as a door to door salesman, don’t hate me for it) since leaving high school and use that as a spring board for adding elements of truth to the lives and meanings of my stories.
I hope you enjoy reading my work, may it bring you both joy and sorrow.
