Born, raised and life-long resident of the city of Long Beach, New York a beautiful seaside community on the south shore of Long Island. The ocean and seashore have always been major, but not exclusive, influences in my life and my photography. Another important influence in my photography was my father, Dan Evers (recently deceased), and his incredible World War II photos.
I have been an avid self-taught film and digital photographer for most of my life, with little classical schooling. I did study for a brief but very productive time with renowned equestrian and travel photographer, Nina Fuller in her studios. I also have had much success in bringing my art to fruition through the guidance and encouragement of numerous artists on Digital Image Cafe, an online community of photographers from all over the world, as well as the fertile art environment in my local area.
In addition, I am a Trainining Consulatant, but thats the day job. :)
Photographer, Scott Evers, is best known for his award winning digital collages featuring current events with Apocalyptic Perspectives. Now, Evers brings his knowledge of Photoshop to the first in his new series of books: Photoshop: Changing the Outcome Vol 1; The Tsunami.
ALL proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
