Biography
Born in 1946, Carl B. Olsen grew up in London, England and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, later moving to British Columbia, where for many years he worked in the pulp and paper industry.
In 1993 he became actively engaged in the mass civil protests against logging in Vancouver Island's Clayoquot Sound region. Media coverage of his "industry insider" whistleblowing statement ended the main licence-holder's claims that it didn't pulp old-growth trees from the region.
Earthwhistle! - a long labour of love - is his first novel.
