Thabo Mooke was born in South Africa in 1950. He was a reporter for both print and TV and has been publishing a community newspaper in Pretoria and coaching aspirant journalist since 2003.
In 1977, he published his poems, including, ‘The thought of dying’ and ‘You Have No Shame’ in the literary magazine, Staff Rider, that was banned by the authorities in 1979. In 2014 he published his poems in the free international literary and arts magazine, The Blotter. He also contributes online, www.cosmofunel.com
Thabo Mooke is married, has two children, and lives in Lichtenburg in the North West Province.

What are you working on next?
Completed and re-editing my second novel, Daring The Headmaster. It is set on an imaginary tribal land in the North West Province, RSA. The Headmaster must protect his farm school and students from rogue Afrikaner farmers determined to disrupt learning and teaching at his school. This set him on a collision course with the farmers, and he becomes a suspect in the brutal murder of a farmer.
