Michele Aikens

Michele Aikens is a published author and playwright. Seasons of a Woman’s Life and Last Night I Dreamed My Purpose are dramatic stage plays authored by Aikens which have been performed around the city of Chicago. The Homecoming, a teaching novel for spiritual leadership was published in 2011. "Not Just Any Kind of Woman" is an inspirational devotional, published in 1994. A second edition of "Not Just Any Kind of Woman: The Middle Years" was published in 2018. She is currently working on two projects, one fictional and one motivational.

Aikens is a frequent lecturer to women’s groups, often speaking on the subjects of balance, time management, overcoming obstacles, multi-generational workplace development and relationships.

Michele and her husband, Nate, have been married for 30 years and are the parents of two adult children. She holds a Bachelors degree in Religious Studies and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership.
