I loved this well written book. I very much enjoyed the setting of the story and the connection made between people of very different backgrounds and cultures. It is set in my home state and depicts the research done to create this book is very broad and accurate (to my knowledge). As I read it I remembered my childhood, the struggle of my ancestors who came to be farmers in the early days of the colony. Thank you Gwen Walton. Leonore
