I am a 90s baby, Congolese-born (Democratic Republic of Congo) South African and middle child of three girls. When I was 10 years old, both my parents were tragically killed in a car accident on the same day. Needless to say, life took an unexpected turn which led to a very dark and painful childhood...

Today I am an accountant by day and a writer by life – numbers may keep me busy during the day, but words are the captain of this ship! I write books (fiction and non-fiction), short stories, poetry and songs. My blog consists of a series of “confessions” about my life experiences as an orphan, about colourism, about Africa, and about writing.
