Maxine Shepard is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is the tenth of eleven children and is the mother of a 15 year-old daughter named Anna. At a very young age the author loved to read and write. Growing up, she would sit for hours in her room reading books.
It was her destiny to become a writer, but life had other plans that derailed, but did not totally eliminate what was always meant to be. She stopped writing and all but quenched the creative voice on the inside of her. Through a series of unfortunate events, she got off track. But isn’t it funny how when things are going bad, you somehow return to your first love. In the midst of a great trial and persecution she penned her first book. How do you combine the law, the Constitution, spying, surveillance and spiritual warfare in one book? Ask a minister who happens to be a paralegal.
She now lives in Texas with her daughter Anna and poodle mix, Pe'Pe'. She is founder of C.L.A.S.S., a not for profit organization that was birthed during this great trial. C.L.A.S.S. stands for Changing Laws Against Spying and Surveillance. The organization plans to work with law enforcement and legislative officials to bring awareness to problems citizens face with illegal spying, with a purpose of changing laws for all citizens. she also plans to become a civil rights attorney.
She plans to start a ministry for women called Daughters of Zion which will help women who are on the streets or destitute by other means to get back on their feet. She continues to intercede daily for this nation, the Body of Christ, and those who are in need. In life, it is not how you start that matters, but how you finish. For the race is not given to the swift or to the strong, but to those who endure (overcome) until the end. She knows that we all have within us a treasure in this earthen vessel. There is something on the inside all of us that will not allow us to quit. She wants to spread the good news and encourage the brokenhearted.
Her purpose in this life is to manifest the divine presence of Almighty God so that all will see and know and believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit thru Love.
I would strongly encourage those of you reading this book to say no to organized stalking. Just follow the golden rule and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you don't want to be harassed, don't harass others. Believe me when I say what goes around comes back around.
Write or call your congressman today and send them a copy of the sample Organized Stalking Bill entitled 'The Helper Act' (copy inside book) to help get legislation introduced to enforce conviction of those involved in helping to commit acts of conspiracy by mobbing, skit playing or other forms of harassment. In other words, show some CLASS!
A Case for Freedom: Love v. Hate
by Maxine Shepard
This fresh and riveting book will serve to educate, inform and enlighten the Body of Christ and America on how demonic forces penetrate our lives, the church and society. As Christians, it is important to understand the devices the enemy is using and learn how to fight back in the spirit realm with force and power. This book is timely and relevant. One you will reference again and again.
