Biography

Born and raised in beautiful Cape Town, I've always found the surrounding mountains and oceans to be a source of inspiration. A poet at heart, I have recently begun branching out by trying my hand at writing prose and short stories of all genres.

I do hope that you enjoy reading my stories even half as much as I enjoy writing them.

Refreshing to read an erotic tale that's not all about "perfect bodies". Don Abdul is a true storyteller, giving us glimpses into each character's personality. I enjoyed that there weren't any unnecessary details that would distract the reader from the plot, yet enough detail to not make it all about the sex. The sex scene was well written as well, it flowed beautifully. Well written.

A delightfully funny, sexy read. Aussie Scribbler does an amazing job of teasing the reader, excellent exercise for the imagination.
  • Editors' Bible on Sep. 12, 2012

This book brings together all the knowledge and priceless experience of the author into one easy to understand manual. Not all of us may want to swear on a bible, but this is one bible that you will want to swear by, if you are either a writer or an editor. I'm delighted to now have Vanessa's professional expertise as both a writer and editor right at my fingetips 24/7.

This is not the type of story I would usually read, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. I was particularly impressed with the author's attention to detail and the way his words weave a rich tapestry that entices all the senses. He is indeed a masterful wordsmith. In my opinion, this story clearly demonstrates the difference between writing smutty porn and writing richly sensual erotica.
