Sam Yeates

Okay, here's the deal.
I've been writing ever since I can remember. I may not have been able to write very well back in say, second grade, due to lack of knowledge, but that's as far back as I can remember writing-and loving it as much as the air I breathe.
What is my inspiration? Everything. Everything I look at, listen to, feel, or even read gives me the inspiration to write something. There's a story behind everything and you just have to imagine for yourself what it is.
I don't currently have any published stories, but I have finished one story on's Moon- that I started writing back in September of 2011. I don't feel like it's a very good piece of my work, because I had just barely started writing again, but people seem to like it, so I've decided to re-write it before publishing it. Hunter's Moon is to be the first installment in a 8 story series. I don't know how long they'll all be, but I just started writing the second book back in February of this year.
I may be an author, but just like everyone else, I get insecure too; sometimes I'll feel like my work isn't good enough to be put out there, and maybe it isn't-yet. I'm always looking for ways to improve the way I write, and to make my stories seem more believable to my readers.
I may not be published yet, but it's may greatest ambition to get my work out there. Not for the sake of getting money or fame, but because I truly want to share my work with the world, and because I really do enjoy writing.
Without writing, I feel like all of the color would be sucked out of my world.
I write many different genres; Teen fiction, paranormal, romance (That's a given!), humor, fantasy, and MANY more.
I feel like if I set my mind to it, I could write anything.
My favorite things to read about are werewolves, witches, and many other supernatural creatures.
I am in love with the TV show Supernatural and I have the BIGGEST crush on Castiel (Misha Collins).
Some of my favorite books to read:
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (I could read it again, and again. Which I have.)
The Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent. It's an amazing story that I have been following from the beginning.
Vampire Academy by Rachelle Mead. It may be a finished series, but I have no problem reading it just for the heck of it.
I live in Utah, half the time it's really cold or really hot. I long for the springtime when the weather is JUST right.
I love talking to my readers on wattpad; they truly do make my whole world just that much more wonderful. Without them, I probably would have given up writing completely.
I'm only 15, but don't let my age fool you. I'm a lot smarter than I seem.
I blow out candles in October.
I hope to see at least some people reading my stories once I get published.
I'm extremely nervous to publish my first story, but I have finally convinced myself to go for it!
