Simon Burridge

Simon Burridge was born in Northfleet, Kent, UK on August 11, 1974. After watching Pulp Fiction (1994), Simon realized that what he wanted to do was make films. He never attended film school. At 15 years old, he left school to start a mechanical engineering apprenticeship for a local tissue manufacturer and in 2004, he started a small wedding videography business (Cherrywood Productions), ultimately starting his film career. He won multiple wedding awards for his work, he quickly progressed and was directing, shooting and editing music promos for bands, Events and commercials by 2008.

The profits that he made from these promos was invested into writing and making of The Tab Theory (2021), a 30-minute comedy drama pilot based in Medway, North Kent.

Simon has four sons and a daughter. He lives with his wife, actor and photographer, Rachel Burridge (The Tab Theory)
