Simon Francis Hambrook


Simon Francis Hambrook has performed poetry at the FĂ©ile Na Bealtaine Arts and Literature Festival, held in An Daingean, Ireland, 2008. Here he performed alongside the Estonian poets Kristiina Ehin and Livia Viitol. He also received a written imprimatur by the Director of the festival.

Simon has had excerpts from his book 'The White Strand (Blasket Island Recollections)', and his Dream Play about Dylan Thomas 'Things That Never Happen In The Mountains' published in 'Green Dragon Magazine'.

Simon soon plans to publish 'The White Strand' - which details his unusual upbringing on the Great Blasket Island, and his later return to this isolated island in the Atlantic in 1999.
