Biography

I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and so much more. I write because it brings me satisfaction, I help others because it makes me feel good inside and out. These two things together, define my purpose in life...because I can.

We all need motivation, which is Nourishment for the soul...like rain to the earth...This is my aim, pure and simple.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born and raised in South Africa. I had a lonely childhood and always felt that the people around me, did not understand me. When I was 12 years old, I wrote my first poem and found that I had a love of writing. I realized that I had tapped into a world where I could express my emotions, feelings and provide an outlet for the words I had trapped inside. Over the years, I grew bolder and started writing non-fiction and as the saying goes...the rest is history.
What do you read for pleasure?
I enjoy reading fantasy, love stories and books I can relate to. If I can totally immerse myself (lose myself) into the story, then the author has successfully done their job.
