James L. Ferrell


James L. Ferrell was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. He is a retired Superintendent of Police for CSX Railroad with over 30 years experience in both the public and private sectors. His service includes criminal intelligence, organized crime investigation, internal affairs, interstate theft investigation, and police academy director. He served as a member of the law enforcement security committee for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, and is a graduate of Georgia State University. His hobby is astronomy.
