This book had me on my toes and guessing until the very end and I could not have been more wrong, she really had me fooled!! This is very suspenseful, I wouldn't read it at night, if I was alone, it is as though there is always something around the corner, figuratively and literally. In addition, the West Virginia details both the county side and the people were spot on. I suspect the author has truly spent some time there. Waiting for the next book!

I literally read this book in one day, I couldn't put it done! You could tell the author has legal experience and really knows her way around a courtroom and the legal system. I just hope she was not drawing on totally person experience for the book as it was thrilling but also frightening!!
