Legal Marketing Strategist/Consultant/Author/Filmmaker

Cindy Speaker is a marketing strategist and consultant to some of the most successful trial lawyers in the United States. As President of Speaker Media and Marketing, she focuses primarily on marketing strategies aimed at growing relationships, leveraging technology and building systems. Her ultimate goal for her law firm clients is to help them generate a consistent stream of referrals.

As a serial entrepreneur, Cindy is also the publisher of Law Firm Marketing Magazine, an interactive, digital magazine available on the iPad. She has interviewed such notables as legendary trial lawyer Gerry Spence, world reknowned marketing strategist Jay Abraham, and Harvard Law Vice Dean and Professor David Wilkins.

In 1994 she received a master’s degree in communications with an emphasis in TV and film production at Regent University in Virginia Beach, and while there, she worked for the International Family Channel.

Showing hints of the great ambition which would later characterize her career in legal circles, Speaker directed her first documentary as a student project in the prisons of Guatemala.

In 2012 she came full circle as a filmmaker with the documentary feature film “Well of Dreams: The Journey of Anne Okelo.” It is an inspiring story about courage, overcoming adversity and empowering women through education. The film inspired Cindy to author a chapter in the 2012 book “The Only Business Book You’ll Ever Need.” Her chapter is titled “Story Driven Brand Marketing” and it outlines her belief that brands need to find ways to tie in to stories that people are stirred by. The real win, she says, is to tap into people’s passions. The book includes notable authors such as Brian Tracy, Ron Legrand and Robert Allen and spent several weeks on the amazon best sellers list following release.

Speaker says that she is most passionate about finding ways to give passionate people a voice and platform to share their message. “The thing that pleases me most about our film Well of Dreams is that we gave Anne Okelo a voice and a platform. She is now training and mentoring hundreds of women in Kenya and impacting a generation of young girls on the importance of rejecting forced marriage and staying in school to get their education.”

Cindy has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and the New York Daily News. She has also appeared on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX. For more information go to www.cindyspeaker.com.
