This is a perfect beach read thriller. If, like me, you prefer an easy read where the story keeps you turning the pages I'd recommend this book. I know that this is a cliché, but I found it hard to put down. I actually finished it the day I bought it. The story centres around Karen Standish who's baby is kidnapped, and on the same night a woman is murdered in the flat upstairs. The dialogue between the police officers adds some humour, but the hook for me throughout, was when and how the baby reappears. This is a very enjoyable novel. I shall certainly download more of this author's work.
