Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
My first foray into writing was at age three or so; stories about things going on in my life done on scrap or colored paper with crayons and pencils. I wrote a cook book on how to fry an egg after reading "Green Eggs and Ham", by Dr. Seuss. I was fascinated as to how eggs could turn green and since we did not often eat friend eggs in our home I wrote that if you placed them in green food coloring they would fry up nice and verdant! I used words that I heard my folks use. Verdant was one of grandmother's ways of saying her plants were doing well.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Katz Against Pavlov: Katz Wakes Up is my current manifestation in writing. It's about an investment banker who has to choose between a life of loneliness as a man at the top of his game or living authentically. It's a statement on how we are isolated by our social strata. It's also a statement on how we treat each other given our good fortune or not. This is part one of a longer novel.
