Stephanie Marie Roberts

Stephanie Roberts nee Chaves was born in India to Anglo-Indian parents. She married her husband, Chris in India and they migrated to Perth, Australia in 1970.

After a varied career including telephonist and typist in the 1970’s to personal secretary to CEO’s in the eighties, she studied beauty therapy in London and Australia and opened her first beauty salon in 1981. She went on to opening successful beauty therapy colleges in Canberra and Sydney from 1992 to 2006.

Then turning her hand to writing her first novel, based on true life experiences, she found success in selling 153 thousand eBooks. This whetted her appetite for writing and she went on to publishing her first children’s illustrated book, which won a silver medal in the prestigious global eLit Awards for illustration and literary excellence. Her new novel, the first in the Stiletto Series, is just out on Amazon, Nook, Kobo, iTunes and selected bookstores! The Skills Series are short workshop books which teach skills from her very popular teachings in her colleges.

Stephanie lives on the beautiful Central Coast of Australia, with her husband Chris, a retired secret service agent, and her beloved 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Harvey, where she writes and teaches part-time.
