These poems build on the image in the poem ‘Light’ in the ‘Words’ collection: At night, life desperate,/ alone with the enemy of souls,/ light shines within. They draw on several literary themes including ‘The Waste Land’ by T.S. Eliot.
Ghosts
Price: $2.99 USD. Words: 1,360. Language: British English. Published: April 24, 2013. Categories: Fiction » Poetry » U.K. Poetry
A selection of poetry written between 2001 and 2008. What do I mean by 'Ghosts'? The best poetry sees through the surface of the world and looks beyond. While this is lovely, it comes at a price because so much of our culture minimises or flatly denies that any of this is true, leaving us isolated and lonely.
