Biography

Steve Hertig is a geologist with over thirty years experience observing and studying the Earth. With degrees in geology and physics and author of numerous technical publications, he is now incorporating his love of the Earth and the universe into science fiction. He lives and writes in northern New Zealand with his wife Sonya.

Robert A. Heinlein, J.R.R.Tolkien, Spider Robinson, Fred Saberhagen, and Larry Niven to name only a few of the scifi greats. Hemingway, Twain, Poe, Doyle of classic literature.
Is there more Fractime to come?
Yes! Far Flung is released and is the first in a new short story series. Far Flung tells of an asteroid miner and his amorous geobot struggling to figure out how to survive and return to the Milky Way after being flung into inter-galactic space by freak convergence of gravity waves. Far Flung is set in the Fractime universe but somewhat separate from the stories surrounding the Universal War.

In addition, other Far series short stories in the Fractime Saga are taking shape. So check Smashwords in the future for more Fractime adventure!
