Steven Durette

Born in Hawaii, and raised in Arizona, Steven had spent his early years listening to the vivid stories of his uncle, and reading voraciously. Ever since his earliest days, he loved story telling.

After a brief stint of college, Steven left Arizona in 1989 to see the world, and start life anew with the United States Navy. He traveled across the globe, as a Seabee, experiencing more than thirty different countries in a career that spanned twenty two years. However, he could not escape the allure of storytelling and quickly began studying to become a screenwriter, eventually getting optioned by a major studio. Once he began typing, he never stopped, and novels were his next choice to give his talents a venue.

Steven eventually completed his degree, and after completing his Naval Career, he settled back in the American Southwest with his wife, three children, two cantankerous old Corvettes, and an English Mastiff named Rambo.
