The story is great, but not very different from other fantasy stories (some times you are able do guess what it is going to happen many pages before it happens). Furthermore I would like to point out how the three books (Book of Deacon, Great Convergence and Battle of Verril) are, in fact one book. I do not really like when a book end and some characters are left hanging from a cliff or seemingly dead, when it is obvious that they are not going to die...
  • The Battle of Verril on May 14, 2012

The worst of the trilogy, but if you want to know what the end will be you need to read it. I found the plot kind of boring, long battle scenes that seemed they would never end and a bunch of expected surprises.
  • The Book of Deacon on May 14, 2012

Nice! But the other two books (that you have to read perforce if you hope to know how everything ends) do not match the expectations...
  • Mr. Darcy's Proposal on July 24, 2012

Nothing new under the sun, but that should be expected when the starting point is... classical. However I enjoy it (but I am partial to Pride and Prejudice-like romance, I doubt you will relish it if you do not appreciate the struggle of Darcy and Eliza) it is better than many Abigail Reynolds "what if" and worse than few, but maybe is to similar to "The last man in the world". I appreciated very much the fact that some events that I expected to happen, did not happen.
  • Pride and Prejudice Revisited: Posers & Prom Dates on June 02, 2013

Really good, one of the best trasposition in moder times of the most beautifull love story ever written
  • Becoming Healer: The story of Aaron Daryan on Nov. 12, 2013

Nice story but incomplete. Do not read if you do not intend to buy thebsequels.
