Smashwords Interview

What is Deconstructing Cloud?
Deconstructing Cloud is a guide to all things cloud. Studies have consistently shown that the major barrier to adoption of cloud services is attributed to lack of education of cloud, and this book aims to fix part of that barrier. By explaining key concepts from the history of cloud computing, types of platforms, how services work, and how to incorporate security and compliance, Deconstructing Cloud helps readers understand one of the most heavily hyped topics in the technology field.
Why is Deconstructing Cloud different from other books on cloud computing?
There are a lot of great books that explain one area of cloud, such as security or virtual environment management, really well. This isn’t one of them. This book was written to provide an end-to-end guide on the key information you need to know to understand the topic from a strategy level. In order to accomplish that, the material must be presented in a way to be accessible to as many people as possible so that we can drive adoption of cloud methodology. Unlike other books on topics that require technical degrees to understand, Deconstructing Cloud was written with the intent to provide as much information in informal, jargon free language. The easier it is to understand cloud, the higher the adoption rate of these services.
